Local Cooling

While most people are concerning themselves with the global warming crisis I'm much more interested in the cooling trend we're currently experiencing. I know this happens every year and it's hardly a crisis but as the people ostensibly most concerned with global warming are still riding around in their chauffeured cars and private jets I find it hard to get too worked up over the issue so I'm choosing to focus on weather phenomenon closer to home. And phenomenon which I find much more pleasant. The current forecast says I shouldn't see temperatures above 80 degrees farenhiet for the next week. I'm hoping that'll hold true for the rest of the year. I'm already dusting off the winter jackets and preparing for one of my favorite days of the year. No not Christmas, though I have been known to enjoy that too, but the first day without Mosquitos; yes I know Mosquitos doesn't need to be capitalized but spell check disagrees and sometimes it's easier to just play along. It's also easier to play outside when all the blood sucking parasites have called it quits for the season. I also think it worth noting that cigars, coffee, hot chocolate and hot tea are greatly improved by temperatures below 50 degrees. So we'll start prepping those supplies as well. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go ready the snowshoes and draw up some blueprints for an igloo.
